8 months POST OP DJS in Thailand
I’m 8 months post op now after traveling to Thailand for my DJS, and I’m really happy I did it.
I was nervous at first about going so far from home for something this big, but the whole experience ended up being way smoother than I expected. The first few weeks were rough like they are for everyone, but I felt well taken care of and I’m so grateful I made the trip.
Now that I’m 8 months out, I can eat normally again, my swelling is way down, and I’m finally starting to feel like myself. I also actually enjoyed being in Thailand once I was feeling better. The food, the weather, the ladies, and just getting to recover somewhere different made the whole thing feel less scary.
Still healing in small ways, but overall I’m really glad I went. If you want that jaw surgery, seriously just go out and do it.
