All Soups Full Auto (for real this time)

all previous attempts I had the automation fully set up, just never got all the actual soup cards.

this time around i can definitively say I've fully automated, served and completed the day with all soups.

if anyone knows a more elegant way to distribute the pots, please share. this setup is fast but takes up too much space.

side note: customers waiting on other side of wall when hosting stand placed next to wall bug is very glaring and can sometime be run ending. i can only imagine the chaos when customers get stuck behind internal walls. hopefully the devs can address it for the upcoming update.

Full Auto Turkey - 7 Combinations + Nut Roast

Took a while but i finally did it. So much harder on regular maps compared to northpole maps, can't wait for that to become perm like witch hut.

For those not aware - some tidbits for northpole maps. Elf huts cook faster than danger hobs, doesn't burn and don't seem affected by high quality card(slower process) - great for slow cooking foods like turkey, nut roast, sponge cake, etc. Outside conveyors are faster and double as free frozen preps, aka the "plate duplicator".

About this run then. was hoping to get onion rings earlier so i could set up the stuffing(saved it for last coz it's a pain to setup) but it never came. so when stuffing finally arrived i got excited and miscounted the parts i needed. exactly 1 pair of teleporters, 1 smart grabber and 1 corner grabber short. FML. scavenge the cracker teleporter and reorg it for direct delivery, thankfully i had hosting stands or else it wouldn't work. then rerolled a huge chunk of coins looking for the missing grabbers.

After major reshuffling and rerolling more for some stuff to research(just in case adjustments required in the coming days), this is the final layout for now.

Fun fact, herd mentality is absolutely essential for this to work. the system just barely fully loaded up when the 1st herd arrived (3rd pic). the prep time franchise card might also work. Another thing that worried me was, is there enough plates? huge relief when the system fully loaded up between 1st and 2nd herd (4th pic), and i can see the spare plates clearly.

Everything looks fine, smooth and production is keeping up with the orders. If anyone spots anything i can tweak please let me know.

Glad I'm finally done with this project, gonna run it for a few more days before i close the book on it. The other major project is stir fry - that one has been giving me headaches and heartaches for months, but it's in the final stretch now. fingers crossed i can wrap that up soon.

Cakes - Buffet Brownies and Doughnuts Automation

Seen many pple going the cupcakes route for the flavours but i prefer the doughnuts.

Just picked up the 2nd to last food card - cheese board - and threw everything out.

I could take the last food card which is ice cream, but already having photographic makes it challenging. Also Sedate and Victorian is still out there and would insta kill the run.

Gonna keep this run going until Herd comes to kill it.

All soups automated (almost all)

Had a long commentary planned but my brain is fried after this, so tl:dr version it is.

- started with dumplings so i can start prepping carrot and meat soup early, similarly with cheeseboards for broc-cheese soup.

- scaled down dumplings production to bare minimum, partly due to space, partly due to not getting affordable. its fast enough to keep up with the long eating time of dumplings.

- tomatoes would have sat in the top left where the black carpet is.

- combination of herd mentality, all you can eat + double helpings meant a whole lot of save scumming and no afk-ing. just no way to survive snow nights with herd and ayce can still kill the run on non-snow nights.

- as of this post, i have just picked up high expectations (over apple pie), save scummed 5 times from dying at night and called it quits for this run.

side note: this is the biggest banquet hall map (20x12), havent had one in a long time. if anyone has other seeds for 20x12 banquet hall maps, please share. thanks

All sides automated ... foiled by pick eaters ... again!

Planned to automate all sides, ignore the turkey haha.

main goal was to try and reuse sinks compact automation after the sink/portioner thing.

Yet to get cards for chips, roasted potatoes and corn on cob, all automated waiting for cards/ingredients.

most frustrating thing was cheese board setup was ready to go since day12 - not OT12, day12. really could have used the extra reductions from multiple courses coz the days were long.

guess next project would be to automate all soups...

Dumplings after the update. can it be optimised more?

the portioner/sink update wrecked so many automations. this just my humble solution for dumplings. can it be better?

btw this run died with picky eaters. gg. lets go again.
