Iraq map archeological features
A bit of background. I'm close to 58 and when I was a teenager my dad worked on the International airport in Iraq on the big hanger complex with associated buildings. He was assigned to this project by the dutch company he worked for. In a period of about 8 years I spend summers in Iraq between 1976 and 1985. We spend a lot of time sightseeing and I have been up north, Babylon, Ur and other archeological sites.
I managed to get access to the Iraq map and besides being quite disappointed in the quality, I can't seem to find any sites worth flying by. I was wondering if there is a map/mission with POI for this map.
Enclosed the hangars my dad worked on. During one summer some americans were assembling and test flying Hughes 500D/E (?) on the ramp in front of the hangar. Best helicopter flying I have ever seen. Awesome.
