Hey all, I recently picked up a 1990 N/A project Z32 and I have been fighting to figure out what’s going on with the coolant temp. The gauge cluster always reads about halfway, even on cold starts, regardless of ignition on or engine running. I’m assuming the cluster is okay as the needle will drop when the car is turned off, but idk much about the clusters and how they operate. I’ve replaced both the sensors on the water inlet, and it doesn’t appear that there’s any wiring issues either. I’m hoping there’s other things to check before having to get a new cluster😭
