Two almost identical drops (perfect for earrings) and one little sphere piece (a beautiful pendant) 😊
I wonder who they will make happy someday 🥰🥰

This moldavite may look ugly at first glance…
until the sun hits the hole just right ☀️💚
Chasing stories buried beneath the earth.
A unique piece with a clean hole through it. Tiny, but truly exceptional 😊
Hi everyone! 😊
I hope my little moldavite miniseries helped some of you get at least a basic understanding of moldavites 💚
I had an idea. maybe you could help me too by asking different questions that weren’t answered in the miniseries. That way I could make more parts based on what YOU would like to know 😊
So what do you think?
Send me your topics and questions, and I’ll do my best to cover them based on my own experience 💚
Part 5: Moldavite miniseries by Komixak.
What makes one moldavite more valuable than another?
Not all moldavites are valued the same.
Even stones with the exact same weight can have completely different prices.
Some of the biggest factors are:
👉 Locality:
Certain localities are much rarer or more desirable than others.
👉 Sculpting / texture:
Deep, detailed surface sculpting is usually more appreciated by collectors.
👉 Shape:
Interesting or aesthetic shapes can increase value a lot.
👉 Condition:
Damage, fresh breaks or chips can affect value, although natural ancient breaks are often accepted by collectors.
👉 Size:
Larger pieces are usually rarer, which increases the price per gram.
At the end, every collector values something different 😊
Some people love perfect sculpting, others prefer unusual shapes or large pieces.
That’s part of what makes moldavite collecting so interesting. 💚
What matters most to you when choosing a moldavite? 👀
Part 4: Moldavite mini-series by Komixak
Natural break vs fresh damage:
Not every broken moldavite is damaged recently.
Some moldavites were naturally broken millions of years ago and over time, the surface “healed” through chemical weathering.
👉 Natural ancient breaks:
softer texture
matte / frosty surface
weathered sculpting similar to the rest of the stone
👉 Fresh modern damage:
shiny glasslike surface
sharp edges
smooth fracture with no weathering yet
That’s one of the easiest ways to tell old natural damage from a fresh break.
Naturally separated pieces also don’t always fit together perfectly anymore.
Over time, the fracture changes and develops new texture and sculpting.
This part of the miniseries is mainly for people who are new to moldavites and still learning 😊
I hope it helps a little 💚
one of my latest finds that have joined their friends in my collection 💚 I broke the flat one myself 🫣 don’t hate me 😅
Part 3: Moldavite miniseries by Komixak 💚
All moldavites were created during the same impact,
but where they landed changed everything.
👉 Besednice (Ježkovna and similar areas):
very distinctive, sharp “spiky” sculpting
highly textured surface
formed under specific conditions unique to this locality
👉 Bartochov, Brusná, Habří (clay environments):
typical “frosty” surface
softer, matte appearance
shaped by long-term chemical weathering
👉 Sand / gravel environments (like Chlum, Vrabče,Koroseky, etc.):
smoother surface
more rounded shapes
sometimes slightly worn over time
👉 Field found pieces(like Zliv, Protivín, etc.):
can be chipped or slightly damaged
more rounded from long exposure
often affected by farming activity
Two moldavites can be the same age, but look completely different, just because of where they ended up.
Part 2: Moldavite miniseries by Komixak
There’s no 100% way to tell from photos alone, but there are some clear signs that can help.
👉 1) Natural texture
Real moldavite is never “perfect”
It has irregular shapes, natural sculpting and small imperfections.
If it looks too smooth or too perfect, be careful.
👉 2) Internal structure
Under magnification, real moldavite shows:
tiny bubbles
flow structures
natural chaos inside
(Example photos attached its not mine, but a good reference)
👉 3) Lechatelierite inclusions
Sometimes you can see inclusions of Lechatelierite
these are small, glassy formations created during the impact. (Photos) ideal under microscope or magnification.
They are a strong indicator of authenticity.
👉 4) Fresh breaks vs natural surface
New breaks look smooth and shiny like glass.
Natural surfaces are more textured and “weathered”
Real moldavite isn’t perfect, and that’s exactly what makes it special.
If you’re unsure about a piece, feel free to ask 😊
What’s one thing you check to see if a moldavite is real? 👀
I’ll choose one answer I like and include a small extra piece with your next purchase 💚
I often get asked why some moldavites are smooth and rounded, while others have sharp textures and deep sculpting. The answer is simple: environment.
👉 Field found (ploughed land):
These pieces are often exposed to the surface and repeatedly hit by farming equipment over the years. Because of that, they tend to be:
chipped or slightly damaged
smoother, more rounded
sometimes worn down into smaller shapes
👉 Dug moldavite (from original layers):
These are found deeper underground, closer to where they originally landed. They are usually:
much better preserved
sharper in detail
with deeper, more defined sculpting
often whole or naturally split
Both types are authentic and beautiful they just tell different stories.
One traveled through years of exposure and movement.
The other stayed hidden, protected underground.
That’s what makes moldavite so fascinating, no two pieces are ever the same.

Here is some from my collection, in this transparents boxes look great! If u wanna more info about this stones just send me DM! Enjoy it 💚💚
Each with a different size, shape, surface texture, and even color. They come from different locations, and each carries its own story. One fell into sand, where it was slowly worn down over time into a small rounded pebble. The other fell into clay, where the acidic environment carved deep marks into its surface. Each has its own energy.
And yet, in a way, they are the same. They were formed at the same moment and traveled almost the same path, but with a slight deviation, each went its own way. Just like people. We are the same, yet each of us is different. We all have our own paths, and how we face them either smooths our sharp edges or leaves deep marks on our soul… and even on our face 💚💚 Live your lives as best as you can, and find joy in the little things.
