Was gifted this polished agate by a coworker cleaning her basement but I can’t quite figure out where it comes from or what kind. Reverse search on Google brought similar looking ones but no info from where from. Seems to be naturally pink, the red splotch in the middle confuses me but that’s nature 😂
Been eyeing malachite for quite some times now... Found this piece and instantly fell in love 😍 but i kinda see a dragon in its shape 🥹🥹 do you see it??
Hi everyone! I recently got into collecting crystals for spiritual purposes. So far I've only got 3 pieces to my collection, Im a student so Im on a budget, but soon as Im more comfortable Im thinking of growing my collection!
So my question is I guess, what do you think about the individual crystals in the picture and spiritually how I should use them, I mean how can I get the most from them. Thank you in advance for your time :)
edit: also what should be the next addition to my collection?
I've been watching this Ebay listing for 3.41lb 94mm malachite sphere for over a year, really fell in love with the patterns and the caves. Sent couple offers but never reach a deal. Then last week I saw it's still available, so I shot another offer for like half price just for fun, never thought the seller accept it. It was listed for almost $600, got it for $300, definitely the most expensive piece I've ever own.
I think these pictures will post out of order-
Flourite Medusa carving
A really *rose* quartz
Some amethyst rainbows
Big-ass garnet 🤎
My solar system (moonstone, amazonite, smoky quartz, prasiolite, amethyst, aquamarine )
Garden quartz
Slice of seraphinite stalactite
And a little labradorite carving of a castle 🏰
I got this crystal at a fleamarket and I'm very unsure on what it could be.
Picture from eBay.
Just found these while cleaning my room and I can't remember where I got them. Can anyone tell what they are?
I bought this as fluorite, my app says fluorite. How can I tell?
It does. But I hate how this app uploads my videos.
This is just a ball of fascinating beauty to me 😍
My girlfriend is deep into crystals and opals are her #1 favourite by far
She loves the magical flash and energy they have. So I was thinking of surprising her with an opal ring instead of a plain diamond for our future engagement...
But after reading a bunch of comments here and elsewhere im getting worried. People say you really want something 7.5+ on the Mohs scale for daily wear. Opal is only around 5.5-6 so it seems too soft. They mention it can crack from temperature changes or just normal life stuff like grabbing stuff from the freezer.
Ive been looking online and on Opal Auctions and some look so beautiful for way less money, but now im paranoid it might not hold up long term as an everyday ring.
Has anyone here worn opal rings long term? Or should I look at harder alternatives that still have nice colors like tourmaline, spinel or colorful sapphires? I want it to feel special for her but also actually last yk
Dont wanna mess this up
Here’s a raw and faceted chunks I got recently! Love them 🫶
Do show me your smoky collection too!
