Signatures not required for CachyOS packages? is this normal?

In my /etc/pacman.conf, I see

[cachyos]

SigLevel = Optional TrustAll

Include = /etc/pacman.d/cachyos-mirrorlist

Is this there for everyone? It makes CachyOS packages not require a signature. This seems unusual to me, but let me know!

Thanks in advance! :]

Updated info: I checked on DistroSea, which is a website that lets you try distros in your browser, and that setting appears there too! With everyone saying it isn't there on their install, it seems to me like it might only be set for newer installs? I installed Cachy last Sunday. Why is it set like this?

black screen after login on boot after being shutdown for a while

im having an odd issue. on my first install, i had a black screen after every login. i reinstalled on a different drive and it seemed fixed. but now, when i shut down my pc at night and turn it on in the morning, i log in and get a black screen. i reboot and it goes away, but it happens every morning seemingly, though its only been 2 mornings since install. the issue doesnt happen with regular reboots. where would i start to find the cause?

so, i got a gmail critical security alert, and i got one once before when i reinstalled my OS too. it says unknown device and says it blocked the sign in. i was setting up my vpn yesterday at about the listed time, so that could maybe explain the unknown device part, but i dont remember a log in being blocked. the weird thing is, i dont know how id be compromised, as i am very careful and use only linux, which has far fewer viruses, and 99% of what i use is from the linux mint repo. i dont download anything i dont trust, so i am just very confused. could this be a false alarm? since i dont know the cause, if it is malware, i fear reinstalling my os will not help since ill likely download it again. this was a real security alert, btw. it is under my google account security tab

the newest nvidia drivers lack 32 bit stuff steam needs, so im considering swapping to nvidia-driver-580-open as a temporary fix, but does it still get security updates even though its older?

also, is it recommended to swap via driver manager?

thanks in advance!

as the title says, i did a fresh install, i have tried 3 times, i am absolutely sure i chose a DE, and it boots to tty1. i tried the live iso, and it too immediately boots to tty1 before install. i have a nvidia gpu, so i suspect thats the issue. i tried startx and that works. im using cinnamon, so i ensured lightdm is installed, and i tried systemctl enable lightdm. no luck. please send advice
