Economics teacher issue

Economics teacher issue

I feel so demotivated after scoring 19/30 in Economics. My teacher deducts marks for no reason. He deducted 1–2 marks from each answer, even when the answer was a direct copy from the textbook (which he explicitly asked us to do). He even deducted marks for crossing out mistakes (even though I used whitener over them so they wouldn't look noticeable).

The issue really isn't with me, but with the teacher. Last year, he failed 65 out of 85 students in the 11th grade finals. I can't fathom that 65 students failed to give their best to try to score at least passing marks.

All of this is making me feel so demotivated. I already had doubts about whether I would be able to handle Economics because it contains math, but now, after seeing that I couldn't even score good marks on a purely theoretical test, I feel like a failure.

I had a choice between Geography and Economics. I hate Geography and I fear math. I chose to fight my fear over my hate, but now I feel like I made the wrong decision.

We won't have him in 12th grade, but I feel like by then, I'll completely lose all my motivation and love for this subject. It's breaking my heart because no matter how hard I try in the half yearly and final exams, I'm bound to score terrible marks because of my teacher.

I also feel like, what if he's rightly deducting marks and that I'm not good enough for this subject. What if by the time I realise I'm not made for this subject, it'll be in 12th grade, 2 months away from boards.

I really don't know what to do anymore.

Tried to do Douyin Makeup

I think the red under the eyes was a bit too much. And the blush is really light. I also suck at nose contour. No judging.

I entered class 11 a month ago (humanities) and I got the opportunity to choose my skill subject. The options my school gave me were fine arts/entrepreneurship/yoga. I chose entrepreneurship because I was interested in the subject.

Today, my incharge called me and a few other students and told us that she's removing entrepreneurship as a subject because many class 12 students chose to drop it, it had a high failure rate as compared to the other two skills, it's almost like a main subject and that the skill subject should be something light with higher practicals.

Fine arts is 30 marks for theory and 70 for practical

Yoga is 50 marks for theory and 50 for practical

Entrepreneurship was 70 in theory and 30 in practical

Now that my school removed entrepreneurship, they asked me to choose between fine arts and yoga. They also told me that students who have physical education as the 5th subject cannot opt for yoga. I was only left with fine arts.

And honestly, I'm fine with the theory but it's the practical and overall pressure to maintain a file that's scaring me. I hate drawing and it pisses me off. I heard that for 12th practicals, we have to draw in front of an external examiner and also give a practical file with 30 drawings.

This was my worst nightmare and now it's about to become true.

I got 3 options.

  1. Continue with fine arts which will do nothing but piss me off for the next two years.

  2. Ask my school for another skill subject (it would be a suggestion, my incharge is very understanding so she might take an initiative to do so)

  3. Drop the optional subject and I'll have a stress-free life and a free period twice a week.

Please help me.

I think my eyebrows are too thick and it overpowers my features. I have a soft and round-ish face and my eyes are small (imo). Should I thin them out? I also heard that it won't ever grow back the same if I go down that route. I need suggestions.

I'm in class 11th and a humanities student. I had a choice between economics and geography. I chose economics because I have always hated geography. The subject is really annoying and I despise learning about random plants and plateaus. But, the thing is that I suck at maths. I'm scared that I might regret my decision in class 12th during boards. I have done the first chapter in Microeconomics and Statistics and they seem easy and interesting to me.

Moreover, my class teacher is a geography teacher and she taunts economics students on a daily basis. She says things like, "I won't accept you guys in my subject after the first unit test," and, "These economics students are going to come to me crying later." I'm honestly kind of affected by her words. What do I do in such a scenario? I also have no interest in pursuing economics or any field that might benefit from it.

12thies, please help a girl out.
