Cancellation Policy for Middle East - why no updated dates?
Qantas haven’t updated their cancellation policy for travelling through the Middle East in months. They’re still only offering free cancellation up until the end of May.
We’re travelling on the 5th June and if we were to cancel ourselves, even though the government advice is “do not travel” we would lose hundreds of dollars.
We have since made other arrangements through Asia, but it means we’ve paid for two sets of flights.
Virgin has offered free refunds for months ahead - why isn’t Qantas coming to the party? The only communication we’ve received from them is just recently with our flight changing completely, departing 12 hours earlier.
I have called them several times and they can’t give me any answer for travel from June, even though it’s days away. It just seems poor.
