Bought factor one couple months ago, headset area have a paint flaw, asked bikeshop they said sorry cant do to much, they do not have a touch up paint. asked me to contact factor.
had same thing with my canyon bike, canyon send me touch up paint also refunded $500(well, also because my bike expensive).
emailed factor website 2 months ago for 3 times, auto replied with case number and never ever got any actual reply from them.
tried to contact the website again saying im interested about purchase factor bikes, replied me the second day.
what an irony.
Apparently from disrupter today, new rsl will be front 43mm, rear 65mm. Saving 130grams from previous rsl51. And yes they are carbon spokes.
Release right before the tour, which early next month.

And recently I did some upgrades for it and weight it again with parktool lifting scale and my commercial kitchen scale.
Both scale shows around 8.43kg

With all that 8.43kg. If you planning to buying this bike in similar size and color to build, then most likely the weight will be around 8.5kg, I’ve think I had spent the top money on this bike.
So I don’t know how these people in Nero show can have a same colorway factor one for 7.8kg, especially I’m sure they are using sram force e1.
Not trying to flexing the spec or the bike, that’s why I picked a horrible photo to show the build. Just saying the truth. Bike rides all right, still getting used to it. Not here to review the ride quality or bla bla.
Factor has never mentioned the weight of this bike, and all the weight details was from these 3rd party medias, lol. I wonder what brother rob gonna say about it.
i just bought factor one last month. and i been riding gen 8 trek madone since its released.
factor one is a very very heavy bike, it does faster on flat roads but thats it. We have weighted the frames, black one was 1050g fork 900g, white paint 1180g, fork 950g, both size 58 with seatpost installed
38cm bars only, very harsh to ride in new zealand road, the bike only released last December, however the frame and the headset has been upgraded, which is quite surprising.
very aggrasive geometry, you cant set up this bike for any comfort, you just won't. It’s not for weekend warriors, i guess only elite cyclists will suit this kind of geometry, for me, I’m trying.
paint work is shit, i got the nimble cloud color, paint work was dogshit, lots of corners wasent covered very well when painted, lots of parts like the computer mount wasent painted, it just looks horrible. Emailed factor for 3 times from 2 months ago since I received the frameset. No reply at all. I guess rob is busy promoting the brand but not actually caring the QC.
The black color was looking amazing from the website, in reality, the paint was horrible, paint top tube feels like sand paper.
reason i bought this bike was because i want a full aero bike, cervelo dealer in nz delayed my s5 order to late this year, so i've canceled to get factor one. but if time can go back, i would rather get colnago y1rs, although im not a fan of team uae, pogi and colnago brand.
since today, im the only owner of factor one in new zealand, got a good deal from $14500 to $12000. i guess thats a good sign for you to dodge the bullet.
