Hi all, it has come to the attention of the mod team that there has been an increasing number of posts unrelated to wild bettas (mostly pertaining to domestic bettas) being made on this subreddit. While posts to pertaining to wild betta adjacent and/or sympatric species (such as parosphromenus or Sphaerichthys sp.), and overall blackwater tank care are more than welcome, please note that this subreddit's primary focus is on wild betta complexes and not domestic bettas. Please do not make posts pertaining to domestic bettas here, as these posts are outside the scope of this community. Do not post an excessive amount of black water species that are not related to wild bettas.

There are other subreddits dedicated to domestic bettas, so please use those communities for posts that don’t fit the focus of this subreddit. **Posts that do not follow these guidelines will be removed.**

Sooo i just found out the pool at Somerville house is heated n open to public. Anyone in their 20s or early 30s wanna come with? Wanna go some day soon but I think it'll be nice to have some company to go with haha. We can grab a coffee b4 or after too. Feel free to reach out if this interests u haha.

Hey guys, as the title says I'm looking for new friends to expand my social network!Unfortunately most of my close friends here have since moved back home to Malaysia after completing uni while I stayed here so just putting myself out there in hopes of expanding my social circle again!

Abit about me:

I'm 26M, ambivert and a bit of a nature nerd who tries to be active! Originally from Malaysia but have been in Australia for a little over 12 years now! My hobbies are a bit all over the shop (some probably a bit niche) but I enjoy roadtrips, exploring new places, hiking (and oogling at any interesting flora or fauna we might see along the way), keeping houseplants (plant nursery runs anyone?), aquariums, chess, hitting the gym (when I can be bothered 😂), a dip at the local pool, gel blasters, cafe hopping, trying out new food spots, and any of those things put together.

Would love to meet and hang with new people who might match my vibe and share the same weird hobbies. HMU if any of these sound like you and lets see where things go!
