Is there any significance to the numbers on the world map? I'm assuming it's just showing a timeline of what I did, but I'm not 100% sure as I'm playing this on and off so my memory is kinda iffy.

Important Updates Regarding July 1st
As the July 1st RTO Mandate approaches, SEIU Local 1000 has met and conferred with departments to address the implementation of this mandate. Despite valid concerns raised by members and the proven benefits of remote work, the State and most departments have been consistent that they intend to move forward with the four-day RTO Mandate.
As we approach July 1st, it’s important that we continue standing together and advocating for telework policies that work.
Yes. Unless your department has provided different guidance, state employees should be prepared to report in-office up to four days per week beginning July 1. SEIU Local 1000 continues to challenge the State’s return-to-office mandate but members should follow their department’s current direction while those efforts continue.
We’ve filed an Unfair Labor Practice Charge with PERB, helped develop and support AB 1729 with coalition partners, advanced telework proposals at the bargaining table, held rallies and worksite actions across the state, and continued educating the public about the taxpayer, environmental, recruitment, retention, and service-delivery impacts of this mandate. We’ll continue using every available channel to make sure state workers’ voices are heard.
Yes. Our bargaining team is still at the table fighting for updated telework policies as part of our next contract. Any telework provisions secured through bargaining would take effect after a tentative agreement is reached and ratified by members, but telework remains an active topic of negotiation.
SEIU Local 1000’s Unfair Labor Practice Charge is continuing through the PERB process. Because PERB cases take time to resolve, the charge will not prevent implementation on July 1. However, the union continues to pursue the case, and any relief ordered by PERB would apply retroactively.
