I met a lv 16 Murkrow in route 5, I had it down in single digit hp with paralysis on it but ended up wasting 4 pokeballs and 1 greatball on it and didn't even get 1 shake.

Checked on the catch rate calculation because it felt just wrong and found out it has a catch of 30 .. the other bird pokemon in the route Taillow has a catch rate of 200.

Does anyone know WHY does Murkrow have such a low Catch Rate? Like is there any game mechanics reason or lore or anything?

Edit : Mewtow has a catch rate of 3, Rayquaza has a catch rate of 45 while Murkrow has a catch rate of 30 as per pokemondb.net
