My sweet gal
I got this beautiful bp from my sister! She's such a sweetheart, and is always so curious
(Also, don't mind the Aspen bedding in the pic, this is old and we have her on a reptisoil and coconut fiber mix now 🫡)

I got a baby milk snake about two months ago. He's on Aspen bedding in a 40 gallon tank, with lots of clutter ...but now that it's so cluttered and I made the substrate deep, I can never find or see him. Even on feeding days, I have to leave the pinkie mice in there on a little plate because I can't find him to feed him.
I've only been able to handle him twice in these two months. He's very anxious and timid. I'd like to start handling him, but I'm not sure how to go about it because he's always burrowed. Is there anything I can do to start showing him that I'm safe and trustworthy?
I've been laying my hand in there, but I'm not sure it's helping because he's always burrowed anyway...
I would really appreciate any advice you all have, thanks!
