While watching the fireworks last night I could see a drone show on the distance, seemingly over carp/montecito/summerland, but have been unable to find anything about it.
Curious who was putting on the show, ‘twas fun to watch from afar!
I am going to come up from Santa Barbara for the weekend soon and was hoping to get a first hand POV on which trails/areas I should target. I'll be bringing both my gravel bike and my hardtail and would love to get a few rides on each. There is just so much information online it is tough to figure out where to even start.
Open to any distance + elevation, my priority is always having a fun adventure. Bonus points if the route goes through any populated areas where I might be able to grab a snack. Not trying to set strava KOMs, just looking for a good time
I would like to start biking with my son to school - He is 8yo, and a very solid cyclist, but this ride does have some pretty big hills and I am hoping to make the ride to school fun and carefree, not stressful and exhausting for him. I expect to provide most of the pedaling power, but it would be nice for him to help. We have an E-Bike, but I would like to avoid using that unless it is the only option
Any thoughts on the best way to do this? My mind immediately snaps to a properly sized tandem, but maybe there are alternatives I am not considering?
Looking to purchase a whole pig, ~30-50 lbs, to roast at home. Does anyone have a recommendation as to where I can get my hands on one?
