New(b) player: Hero deck advice
So I recently got back into YuGiOh from my sisters bf through Speed Duel. That was perfect since I only collected/played when I was young and the current format is nuts and I have no idea what any of the cards do. Unfortunately Speed Duel is kinda dead but my sisters bf mentioned other formats.
Lo and behold GOAT format. Then he mentioned a small locals that's happening next week so I decided to make a deck of my own. I decided on a hero deck since I like the heroes, but the only really playable one in the format is Thunder Giant
So I ended up with a Thunder Giant/ Fusion Gate return deck. I'm just looking for some advice on what cards to swap out. Mainly looking at the 3rd fusion gate and 2nd return. I want to keep soul release and des kangaroo since they would be cool to make work but i'd side them out for a 2nd NoC and Tribe most likely.
I dont have much experience actually playing the proper game so my side deck might be terrible, but I do know chaos and warriors are good. Thanks so much and it's cool to see the older versions of the game still being played.
