Entering 4th Year with NO Projects/ Dev Exp. Feeling anxious about placements.
25', 26' or 27' people please guide.
I'm from MCE branch with an okayish CG (8.5+).
I've been grinding DSA for a while (will be focusing on Graphs and DP now). Core subjects are yet to be revised (DBMS, OS, CN, OOPs).
I don't know anything about System Design or ML.
Also, I have:
- No personal projects to show on my resume
- No dev experience
- No hackathons
- No prior internships or summer intern.
Since the past few days, I've been feeling really uncertain and anxious about placements due to the market situation. Everyone keeps talking about it, placement percentages dropping, offers getting revoked and PPO conversion rates getting lower.
I know it's unnecessary and counterproductive to keep thinking about all this or regret the time I've already lost. But having an education loan and coming from a very poor financial background just adds to the anxiety. It honestly feels like I'm cooked.
Can someone tell me what I should focus on in the little time that remains, AND, how much chances Do I have of getting placed?
Any inputs from seniors who've gone through tech placements or knowledgeable batchmates would be really appreciated.
