Beginner looking for first bike under ₹35k
Hi everyone,
This is my second post for similar question. (https://www.reddit.com/r/india\_cycling/s/v7yxSzm9zJ)
I'm looking to start cycling as beginner for fitness and endurance. Here are my details:
Age: 35yrs Male
Weight:95kgs
Height:177cms (5'10")
Riding Conditions: Smooth state highways & paved roads around our town
Target Distance: ~50 km rides
Budget: Under ₹35,000
I’ve narrowed my search down to these 4 bikes:
- CRADIAC Concept X (24-Speed Hybrid, Disc Brakes, 700x35c tires)
- Battalion Frontline V3 (2x7 Road Bike, Rim Brakes, 700x28c tires)
https://battalionbikes.com/products/frontline-v3-new
- Triban RC100 (1x7 Road Bike, Rim Brakes, 700x32c tires)
- FitTrip Super Velo (2x7 Road Bike, Disc Brakes, 700x25c tires)

Given my weight (95 kg) and long-distance goal, I want to ensure I pick a bike with comfortable geometry, good gear range, and tires that won't give frequent punctures or a harsh ride.
Questions:
Which of these four is the best option for a beginner at my weight?
Are 25c tires on the FitTrip too narrow for 95 kg?
Should I stick to a hybrid (CRADIAC) or go for an endurance drop-bar road bike (Battalion/Triban)?
Are there any other alternative bikes under ₹30-35k I should consider?
Thanks in advance for the advice!
