Need some guidance
I’m looking for a new pair of boots. I’m an electrician in the north eastern region of the US so I have to deal with all seasons. I’ve had 3 pairs of boots over the last 10 years. My current pair are tred lite 2449’s. The toe is completely worn off on both feet, the stitching is undone on about 1/3 of each boot and the soles are almost tread less. I absolutely loved these boots over the last 3 years but my feet are just killing me and I think it’s the boots. They started hurting a couple years ago and I didn’t think it was the boots but the pain hasn’t gone away. I had doctors check out my feet and they can’t find anything wrong. After some of my own research, I’m learning that wedge soles are really not designed for flat footed wearers on surfaces other than a smooth floor. I’ve had recommendations for super sole 2.0’s but I don’t want to spend the money on them and buy the tuff toe treatment which I know I’ll need. The brnr xp looks alright but I just don’t know.
