Remix of Roadwork Rappin'
I was looking for music to bridge a fairly large range of age gaps. Since me and my wife are huge Ace fans, she wanted me to include some of his work. I (semi) jokingly suggested Roadwork Rappin'. We had a good laugh, then looked at each other seriously and agreed it's actually big brain energy.
It started as a mashup, but started to grow in scope as I got into it. In the end, I'm pleased to say it worked perfectly. I was able to have the somewhat surreal experience of watching a decent crowd, including 80+ year old's dancing away, while the toddlers had to run off and grab road signs and toy trucks to come back and join in. More proof that Ace's music is timeless and magical. Anyway, I hope it's welcome to share this tribute here :)
