Hey all. 15+ year experienced commissioner here looking to startup an Empire Dynasty league for next year (2027). i’m looking for competent, invested, active team owners who are in it for the long haul. another basic requirement is willingness to trade. i’m not saying you need to trade any given player at any given time. i’m saying you’re willing to make a fair deal for the right price when/if they come along. if you just do not trade under any circumstance, this league will not be for you.

as I mentioned before, this will be a Empire Dynasty league. if you’re unfamiliar with the “Empire” term, it means some of our yearly buy in money will be put into a separate pot, which will continue to roll over and grow year after year until a BACK TO BACK champion is crowned. when/if a back to back champ is crowned, the yearly winning payout, as well as the entire Empire Pot will be dispersed to the winner. this will also be the time that we will drop all current rosters and have a new “startup” draft the following season.

i love this idea and i’m very excited to jump in. i wanted to take this entire season, hopefully with a full league already, to nail down all rules and regulations with the league members. basically making sure everyone is on the same page and there are as few issues as possible.

some basic rules i’d like to implement are decently large rosters/benches and IDP. all settings are up for negotiation and vote if need be. i know i can’t please everyone with a set of rules and regs, but id like everyone to have input while we build the league from the ground up.

if this is something you would be interested in, i need approximately 8-10 more owners to fill a 12 or 14 team league. please comment or DM me with interest. I have 4 positions filled already, including myself.

again, please fit the criteria mentioned above before you commit. i want this to be an extremely competitive league that will continue for many years. looking forward to hearing from new potential league mates!

anyone have experience with Empire Dynasty Leagues? may be called by different names, but essentially half of the buy in goes into a “Empire Pot” yearly. that pot rolls over and continues to grow year after year until a team wins back to back titles. then, that back to back champ takes the championship winnings and also the entirety of the Empire pot. league then drops all players and has a “startup” draft again. any pros and cons from anyone with experience? should there be concern for major collusion down the line?
