Something i wanted to get off my chest for a bit.
Seeing the Duffer's talk about El's ending and that Millie cried when they told her about El's ending? Add that those dumbasses said that they will reveal what happened to El in 20 years? Get the fuck outta here.
El went through so MUCH shit, man. Her mother was taken away by Brenner, she went through so much pain in Hawkins Lab, escaping the lab, learning about friendships, Lucas and Dustin becoming her best friends and later on with Max, establishing a connection with Mike that ended up with the two falling IN LOVE with one another, not being able to see Mike for 353 days, finding her Mom to be in a pretty awful state, far away from her sister Kali, losing her powers, Hopper's "Death", Moving to a new place where she thinks that she doesn't belong, the bullying she took from Angela, finding out that the person who took her mother away was still alive after thinking he was dead, Vecna putting Max in a coma for over a year, and then far away from her friends, family, and her soulmate at the end.
And in Mike's case, his best friend was taken by the Upside Down and never really got the childhood he wanted, the girl that he was falling in love with sacrificed herself to save him, Lucas, and Dustin, Radio calling El for 353 days straight with El listening to ALL OF THEM, finding out that the person that became El's father figure kept her hidden away from him and the rest of his friends, having to watch her move away from Hawkins, watching as El got arrested in Lenora Hills, his parents getting attacked and sent to the hospital by Demogorgons, His little sister Holly was missing, and then at the end.... he had to watch helplessly as El vanished along with the Upside Down. He's NEVER EVER getting over El, unless the two reunite with one another at some point in the 1990's. Which i believe that's the case because Mileven always finds a way back to one another. (That's going to be quite some time though since Millie and Finn are going to have busy schedules.)
"But Eleven represents childhood." Go fuck yourself, Duffers. To think heading into season 5 last year, I once had faith and trust in them to deliver a good conclusion to the show i've been watching for 10+ years. Especially with how good Season 4 was IMO.
If a spin-off does happen where Mike and El reunite, I do NOT want those fucking fraud brothers anywhere near it. Good writers only. Shoutout Eric Robles. Of course, Millie and Finn being in it as they reprise their roles and Mike and El, but throw in David, Natalia, & the woman who played El's birth mother in there as well.
Anyways, I wanted to get this off my chest since it involves one of my favorite TV couples and two of my favorite characters on the show. And how sad I was that they got a really crappy ending back in December. I feel like a lot of people here can feel the same way I've felt. If I offended anyone by putting the swear words on here, I apologize for that.
