We know it’s been a minute, but we are thrilled to officially announce that r/sportsbetting is back open for business!
The New Mod Team
Behind the scenes, a brand-new moderation team has stepped in. Our primary goal is simple: we want to rebuild this subreddit into the absolute best sports betting community on the internet. We know how great this place used to be, and we are committed to getting it back there.
To do that, we are focusing on keeping the feed clean, high-quality, and fun.

We’ve revamped the community guidelines to make sure the sub runs smoothly. Please take a second to check out our updated Community Rules in the sidebar, but here is the quick version of what to expect moving forward:
- No Touts or Spam: We are a community, not a billboard. Selling picks or spamming links is strictly prohibited.
- Quality Content: Less low-effort spam, more slips, deep-dives, and genuine discussion.
- Good Vibes: Banter is expected, but keep it civil. We're all trying to beat the books, not each other.
