Unsure if EoE but need advice.

Good morning,

I’ve been having food impactions for many years (probably 8?) but have only been increasing in severity as of late. Last night I went out to eat and got some fettuccini, and I knew instantly the first noodle I ate something got stuck

It’s been 16 hours and I still don’t feel normal. I don’t know if it’s passed or not. I’ve tried drinking some but it’s horrifying. I don’t have any pain really but just this weird discomfort. I don’t know if it’s anxiety caused or what but this feels awful and frankly I’m terrified to ever eat or drink again and I need advice. Sorry.

Just from your experience since getting into a GI would take weeks.

I feel trapped again. This sucks.

I posted on here a few days ago about how I had my first vertigo attack in well over two years, and how much that bothered me. I don't think I was really aware just how much it would bother me outside of the acute attack.

It's like my tolerance for anxiety has entirely went away. Every little wobble and bit of unsteadiness is enough to send a chill down my spine and make me break into a cold sweat. Ever since the end of the acute episode, my world has felt unsteady every time I am standing up. The ground feels wobbly and I feel so off balance, and that keeps feeding into the fear I have.

It's less about the vertigo coming back - the real kicker is the fear. The realization that, in fact, it can still happen. I grew complacent with the feelings that I had, thinking that the little feelings of dizziness previously were just that and I would never truly have the bad vertigo attacks again.

Boy, was I wrong. This really sucks. Just needed to vent and get that out there since I don't really have an instant solution.

I was hopeful… first attack in over 2 years.

Ugh! I thought I was free!

At least, I think it’s VM. Not sure if that or BPPV, but I don’t think I have any nystagmus.

This sucks. I’m so sleepy. I can’t get comfortable either which just makes it worse and….

Please tell me it’s going to go away thru the night. I need support; this sucks so much. Every time I move my head, I start feeling the spins again. I can’t stop shaking.

Going to the Brickyard 400 - Two questions!

Hi guys! I'm headed to the Brickyard 400 this weekend - super excited, but I have two questions for those who know!

  1. I am staying at the Holiday Inn Express at 5855 Rockville Rd. I'd read some things about the area saying that it is relatively "sketchy" at night around there - we probably won't be arriving until around 12:30AM, are there any safety concerns for the parking lot and relative area? Just want to make sure since I've never stayed out here.

  2. I know the track offers free parking in Lot 7 - is there enough traffic to warrant purchasing a paid parking spot in one of the other lots? If so, where would you recommend? I believe our seats will be in Stand J, and I'll be coming from southwest of the track, and just want to make sure I'll be able to get in/out 3-4 hours before the race relatively fine.

Sorry for being one of (probably many) tourists to this subreddit - I just want to make sure I'm all set for this weekend! Thanks y'all.
