RE: To The Calendar Post. But mainly just posting routine and PR’s getting smashed.

Hey again ya’ll wanted to report back about alterations to main routine. Went by pretty well! Really showcased to me what I needed to work on. Especially in dips and core mainly. I know I started consistently going June, so it is a relatively short amount of time despite the consistency. So I wasn’t expecting anything massive. But its really decent!

I’ve still done them how I would do the ULUL routine. Mainly doing them back to back Friday-Monday.

I have saved the old routine incase I program out from the current one. Even did alterations on it with the reps and volume on that. So its not doing 8 reps, and then 16 reps with the same heavy reps.

And regarding the calendar post

I have made minor changes. Dont know if I should post a sequel post or not. It wasn’t really as on topic for Hevy. But here be the changes:

I will still be sleeping from 6p-2a, to get my 8 hrs in. I will sleep more, and wake up later at 3:30a on Tues-Thurs. I think frequent sleep in the 9-10 hrs range would help me out, and avoid sleep debt. Or generally feeling better. S/o to that suggestion from the comments.

And I chop down the freetime section, adding in the studies, to those days. So its the drawing studies, and then entertainment afterwards.

I will say I am more emboldened to do the super early morning workouts before work at 5am. Mainly from the new routine, and being able to do it at the AF gym by my job.

The AF there compare to at home, is limited in some equipment, such as hip abductors, laying leg curls, ect. Thankfully new routine can still be completed without there. So I am more encouraged to use the gym by work.

And it makes it easier to get up, get everything, drive to the gym, and be able to get out on time. As opposed to feeling rushed to finish the workout, and driving to work. I do have attendance issues in general, I am trying to not be  late mainly. And that happened regardless of the gym.

Had some bullshit happen on the way to work from time to time, even when I was on pace/trying to get there early (Road work mainly). So to me, driving to work, and being able to hit the gym nearby, would help that alot regarding killing two birds in one stone; Hitting gym before work, and not being late.

And I do accept that its no biggy to hit it after work, since the new routine isn’t as long as the old. Wouldn’t mind changing it

First Report Back, After First Post Here

Hey again, ya’ll. I wanted to report back about alterations to the routine; after my calendar post. Went by pretty well! Really showcased to me what I needed to work on. Especially in dips and core mainly. Very intense, especially in doing 4/4. On B day ALT, I did change that up, with 2 sec push, hold, and 6 sec negatives.

I know I started consistently going June, so it is a relatively short amount of time despite the consistency. So it does factor in some lifts falling short

I’ve still done them how I would do the ULUL routine. Mainly doing them back to back Friday-Monday.

I have work at 5am. Should I wake up and hit the gym at 2:30a? Or even Midnight?

Hi y'all. I wanted to reach out about properly scheduling my ULUL workout. My Jobs M-F 5am-1:30P. It might be that way for a while. Used to be a part-timer, leaving by 9-10:30a. I only recently changed the workout days from Sat-Tues; to Friday-Monday.

I want to hit the gym before work, to get it out of the way, have some free time, and do me some activities like drawing. (Planning on going to community college for illustrations, Next year spring. So I might have to discuss about reducing my hours, if that happens.).

Wanted to ask if its okay to go this early? Or even earlier like Midnight? And also if my splitting of cardio days is good? Been debating about removing the incline LISS cardio on Monday & Friday. Especially since the job is on foot alot.

ADDITIONAL ASK: Here my ULUL routine. I also wanna ask, if I should edit my workouts a bit more. Like reducing and changing workout? Especially since my routine is more on the high intensity side! I wanna be strong as I can, while cutting my weight from 307 to 197lbs. I have the progress overload as 8 reps for the first working set, and 16 reps for the second working set. If I hit 16 reps; then I increase weight by 5lbs. Been thinking about reducing the second set to 12 reps.

I mainly want to ask this as well, since I have noticed that the workouts been 1 1/2 to 2 hours! When I was able to clear both within 45 mins before. (Maybe more so with the leg day, even now, due to how easy I can clear them, compared to upper).
