Undertaking a kitchen renovation and discovered these parquet tiles under some laminate flooring. Am I right in guessing the adhesive used on wooden blocks is likely to contain bitumen?

Just bought a property and want to put in a new kitchen. I want to do some of the demolition work myself. Do I need to worry about this coating on the wall? It’s a 1930s how but the kitchen is an extension probably done in the 70s.
