I was at my grandparent's place recently, who have accepted me very, very easily.

They have, in their living room, a lot, and I do mean a lot of family pictures: themselves, their kids, grand-kids, great-grand-kids... There are some pictures of me pre-transition, and some post-transition.

My grandma confided with me that my mother (who I am very low contact with) can't even stomach looking at my pictures. She will send my father (her enabler) to turn around my frames before she enters the living room.

The fucking audacity of this woman. I hate seeing my own child self but I don't say shit because it's not my house and I understand they cherish the memories. She seriously need to get over herself.
