Injection site prep

Hello!

I've been DT2 since 2020. It's been a wild ride. Good and bad months.

I recently finished off a box of alcohol pad wipes that took me months to finish off and then started using second box my pharmacy gave me.

Only, the second box the smell makes me NAUSEOUS.

What are we using these days to prep the injection site?

Lip Filler 2nd half syring 2 wks

Two weeks ago I got my second half syringe after 8 weeks of healing from my 1st half syringe. Revanesse Lips 1.2 syringe total. My top lip you can see the 2 needle pokes at the cupid bow.

The next day after my 2nd half my bottom lip looked nicely "stretched" across my face. Now 2 weeks and half later my bottom lip noticeably looking heavier on one side or droopy.

I don't feel any migration, so I wanted to ask how to get my bottom lip back to being equal in both sides? Maybe a botox facial balancing or lip flip?

Do I need more filler for both top and bottom lip? or does my face naturally pull to the right in general?

If you saw my smile in normal day to day, would the pulling to the right be noticeable?

My natural lips were thin and uneven to begin with (last photo). My lips have come a long way, but I feel I could use a smidgen more filler before it looks overdone/unnaturally large.

Let me know what you think.

ps. kinda was hoping the top lip "mounds" would have evened out by now but even with 2nd half syringe still noticeable.

6 wk lip filler results look okay?

I am on week 6 of my first half syringe of Revanesse Lips+ and wanted to get opinions on my results.

I do need another session to fill in my upper lip pockets and build my bottom lip fuller and leveled out with my top lip.

I was expecting my lips border to look more defined, but to me mine look blurry. My right lip arch still feels firm and puffy just above my lip, while my left lip arch is softer and absorbed.

My Dr. said I look good and she didn't see or feel migration like I've been paranoid about.

Do my lips look okay so far?

Lip filler 2 weeks healing

Hi everyone!

2 weeks ago I got first time lip filler .6 of Revanesse Lips+

My right lip arch is noticeably lower/thinner in all my recovery photos. Is it just my face anatomy or think in a few weeks add more filler to try to even it out?

Maybe a lip flip might help in short term fix?

I've had 2 other lip flips before until I decided on filler.

I've been self conscious and it's noticeable to me, while my injector said it won't be to others. Of course I'm my own worst critic.

Also, the top lip, where the "pillow" appears on each side, does this go away over time?

Maybe still have a touch up later to get to what I imaged for myself, because this is not quite what I had in mind. I think my filler started out okay, then by 2 weeks looks like I barely did anything.

Thanks for the input!

Ps. my bottom lip, I have scar issue from biting the inside of my lip stupid hard years ago, hence the big bump. I think i might have minor filler migration already above my right arch that could be pushing my lip down to appear thinner..
