Handling a large canvas
I picked up one of the Jonathan Adler kits from Michael's -- a large wall hanging -- and I was having the worst time trying to get my hands and arms around it. It's very flexible, but I'm always worried about damaging things. This isn't traditional woven canvas, but a very flexible polymer/plasticy sort of fiber and I'm not sure how tearable it is.
Anyway, I think I figured it out, but as I'm a fairly new stitcher, I'd welcome all ideas to make stitching in hand easier.
This is my current work-around. I've rolled up the sides I'm not stitching and clipped them top and bottom with hair clips.
I'm using it as sort of a sampler and trying different stitches on different colors and sections.
