My 10mo just went insane due to fireworks now I can’t find him, what would you do?
I made my screened in porch into a catio, my boy cat loves being out there and I planned on letting him in before the fireworks started. The sun was still up and I heard my neighbors start their fireworks then I heard him meowing loudly so I rushed to let him in when I opened the door he rushed in and went in a corner I tried to calm him and get him to go to the bathroom where he couldn’t hear the pops and he ended up scratching both my arms and legs then ran off. I have been calling him for about an hour now and my other cat is older and seems to be unaffected but she’s not letting me know where he is. I feel so bad. I don’t want him to get stuck anywhere I have checked all his usual hiding spots. I know this was my fault so I am not mad about being scratched I guess I just wanted to vent and see if anyone else has gone through this and how to get him to calm down I hope I haven’t traumatized him bc he is such a sweet cuddly cat.
