What are your unpopular headcanons?
As the title says: what are your unpopular headcanons?
Most of mine center around Draco, since canon focuses so much less on him. In my head, Draco is left untouched physically and socially by canon events. He didn’t get the Dark Mark, Sectumsempra left no scars, and he doesn’t undergo trial or imprisonment for his canon actions. (I know the movies show him with the Dark Mark but I prefer book canon, which leaves it ambiguous.) Instead, he needs to do some serious introspection to understand why he was wrong.
Also, Lucius and Narcissa are not pleasant people, but they genuinely love Draco, even if they taught him the wrong lessons. And they, too, escape serious repercussions, retaining both wealth and social standing.
For Harry, he becomes an Auror, and he’s really good at it and happy with his career, because he likes a bumpy road (which is also why he eventually likes Draco).
So, what are your headcanons that don’t fit the generally accepted fanon?
