Hello, I’m a medical patient in Chicago and I’m trying to grow autoflower plants. I’m not sure if it is me, or if it is the place that I’m buying seeds from. Every seed that has sprouted from this place has been super small and short and they always had helmet head that I had to tweeze off, and only 1 out of like 10 seeds was a straight root germination. The other 9 seeds were hooktail or J tails.
I planted a few right into the largest pot. A 5 gallon fabric pot. I used about 70% Fox Farms Happy Frog soil with 20% perlite and 10% worm castings. They turned out super small. Then I tried planting it in a smaller cup, a biodegradable cup and same thing. Small af. I know I made over watering mistakes with the straight into the 5 gallon ones, but the little cups I know I didn’t over water.
I also have a fully functional grow tent with a 200w light overhead and a 100w floor canopy light (they weren’t on all the way for seedling stage though. They were at 30% and the light color range was set for seedling.) I have a circulator fan, a duct fan, and a temp and humidity monitor and I keep the temp around 75 and humidity about 60-65% for seedling. Only one got to flowering and it was so tiny I just threw it out.
I bought all of my seeds from HomeGrownCannabis. Is it me? Or are these seeds shit? What are some good websites to buy seeds from?
