British man based in Korea looking for a new group to join.
I've played in a few full campaigns in 5e. Played lots of smaller one or two shots in various systems and in particular would love to find a Lancer group to join but also happy to play more DnD too.
Availability would be weekday evenings or anytime weekend on a GMT+8 schedule.
1st pic is the aforementioned Badwater Canal. 2nd pic is an overview of my base showing the cool raised aqueduct to bring freshwater past the badwater river.
The Lido's are currently complaining about the water level because a drought just ended and my reservoir is still filling up.
I'm currently enjoying using Timberbots for round the clock work but at the cost of my living beavers frequently getting hurt in theangerous jobs. It costs a lot of science to unlock dangerous jobs for Timberbots!
After getting back into the game with the lakes map, I decided to restart on the Waterfalls map to play around with elevation.
After cycle 15, the main river source is under my control, badtides automatically flow off right where they appear using a contamination sensor.
I'm coming to the realisation that this map is hamstrung by it's lack of water source blocks though. Only 1 incoming river with 5 blocks means the rivers run slow when you start to open up the various water routes and spread out the water.
1st base with the caveat that I dabbled for a few hours like 1 or 2 years ago, but with the 1.0 release not that long ago I decided to dust it off on the weekend.
Anyway, I've survived a bunch or droughts and a few badtides too. Got 3 Town Centers and hovering around the 80 mark of population. I just drastically upgraded my water storage after the last drought had me running out in the final day. I had 3 water tanks, now 7 and 1 more building. I think my next project will be a wheat and bread farm on the east island.
