Today I learned That Manitoba Doesn’t Have An Ocean.

This is the beginning of an article, apparently written by the owner of the Winnipeg Sun. This will come as a surprise to residents of Churchill…

Selling Land in/near Kenora with Ashes Buried on Property.

If you were to sell a property in the lake country around Kenora, do you have to declare if a person’s ashes are buried there?

Fighter Jet Circling City Today

There has been a cool looking fighter jet taking off and landing at Wpg airport throughout the day. It just flew by again at 8:11 PM. Does anyone know what type of jet it is?

Dog Friendly Patio in Winnipeg

Where are there good, dog friendly restaurants or pubs in Winnipeg? We want to meet up with out of province friends for lunch or dinner, and they want to bring their dog. Likely restaurants with patios would be the best option.

Selecting Smart TV for RV permanently parked at seasonal park with 30 amps

We’ve just bought a 2018 RV that comes with a low cost TV. We going to purchase a new Smart 4K TV. The cubby hole for the TV fits up to a 50” model. We will not be using it for gaming. We will mostly spend the next 4 or 5 months at the trailer site. After that the seasonal park is closed until next spring.

At home we have one higher end LG QNED TV, and one less expensive LG QNED. We will be on 30 amp service. I have some questions :

  1. Is it worth it having a higher end TV in an RV? Or should we look at a QLED TV or even a UHD LED TV?

  2. are there any other things we need to consider about having a TV in an RV? We’d probably unplug it during thunderstorms and when we go home for a few days, just in case.

  3. The RV will be in a location that freezes for the winter. Should we take the TV home (which will be awkward to pack in the vehicle) or leave it in the RV.

We have never had a RV before so any other non-TV tips will be appreciated too!

Cheers!
