My nanny told me her grandbaby has a birthday soon. I thought we should buy them a small gift. My partner thinks if we do that, our nanny will think she needs to buy our baby gifts and we will have to set a boundary to tell her we do not expect her to buy our baby gifts. Should I not buy her grand baby a gift (like 30 bucks) and do we have to explicitly tell her to we never expect her to buy our baby things?
