What's your experience with inactive playstyles at CMF?

I'm considering picking Nico O Reilly to use at CMF but my biggest concern is the plystyle. In terms of stats he's similar to Kimmich (with the builds I'd use on them) but O Reilly has a very unique player model and the most rare Showtime skill in free cards

Is having an inactive CMF such a problem? In that case I'd pick Kimmich

I will test on my own for example with the free Alexander-Arnold at CMF to see how he moves there, but would like to see some opinions from people that have been doing this for a while

In which positions would you say it's irrelevant and in which of them is actually a problem? Is it better than having an active playstyle at any position?

Also, share your opinions in relation to pairings and team playstyles. For example an inactive playstyle at CB, is it good next to a Destroyer and bad next to a Build Up? Is it the same? Do they work much differently when you switch team playstyles?

For example an inactive CF in Long-Ball Counter shouldn't be as much as a problem as one in Possession, as in LBC all players make runs anyways

Also, what about stats? An inactive CF with very high (90+) Offensive Awareness, like could be BT Messi is fine but some winger with 70ish is bad?

Does anyone use that playstyle (successfully, like top 1000)? What's the main difference with, for example, Long Ball Counter?

I see that both act similarly in defense, but what are the positive aspects about this playstyle when you are attacking?

I pretty much understand why people would use any of the other 4 playstyles, but Long Ball?
