Found a spot in my area, I'm new and I'd very much appreciate some pointers!!
I've only ever gone mudding once like 3 years ago, and it was suppppper risky considering it was down in a rainwater drainage channel RIGHT in front of a ton of houses.
.
I found a much better spot today, it's literally just the Riverbank and I'm assuming I could hopefully up to my waist; it's pretty concealed unless someone decided that they would randomly come down to the riverbank, or that they'll notice that someone was there. It's hidden, but very easily accessible. I'll probably go when it's like 3 in the morning, but I've got a few other concerns, so I was just hoping to get some insight about what to do from the seasoned veterans of this sub.
- The first is sticks and trash
- The second would be risk of infection
- And the third would be cleanup (to get here I have to ride through a suburban neighborhood, the river just cuts right through it. On my way home, I'd probably end up passing a few cars. To mitigate this, I'll probably bring a pair of sweatpants or something for after I clean myself.)
I've been around this sub for a few years lurking on a different account, and I really needed to post this and get some insight before I decide that I'm going to do it (I am afraid to post this on my main pls don't judge me).
I really want to go, as this would be the first proper experience for me. The drainage ditch just didn't really do it for me, and I feel like there was probably a lot of trash down there and I just got lucky that I didn't step on a broken bottle.
TLDR; found a great spot in my local area and I need tips on how to prep, and what to look out for.
