I hereby request EA to shut down the BF Chinese Community permanently.
I request EA Official to shut down the unofficial community account **Battlefield Chinese Community** (UID: 393698717) on Bilibili (www.bilibili.com), a social media platform in mainland China.
This is their personal homepage. https://space.bilibili.com/393698717
After this incident, they quickly changed their nicknames and profiles.
Recently, the Battlefield Chinese Community held a so-called friendly match with a gaming community from Australia. Following the friendly match, a large number of racist remarks targeting China emerged. The Battlefield Chinese Community bears fundamental responsibility for this outrageous incident. During the preparation of the friendly match, the community did not conduct any public recruitment of participants or release any relevant match information on its Bilibili platform. Local Chinese players only found out about the tournament after the racist remarks broke out.
It shall be stated clearly that the organizers and affiliated members of this community account do not represent the player base of the Chinese-speaking community. They have long claimed to be the official "Chinese Community" without any legitimate qualification. They have no right to represent Chinese players in any competitions between different countries or regions. Their operation is not that of an ordinary player community; instead, they attempt to pose as the official *Battlefield* authority and mislead Chinese-speaking players.
During the negotiation over the match rules, the Battlefield Chinese Community hastily agreed to the relevant terms without sufficient deliberation, demonstrating their extremely amateur ability in match negotiations. A community organization behaving in such a farcical manner has neither the capability nor the qualification to represent the Chinese-speaking player community.
It should be emphasized that during the preparation for the friendly match, members of this organization adopted a highly perfunctory attitude toward the event, showing disrespect and provocation toward the Australian team.Shockingly, some of their participating players were only at level 20, which fully demonstrates their utter negligence and indifference to the match. Such behavior seriously violates the spirit of sportsmanship and constitutes the root cause of the severe fallout from this tournament.
The most serious consequence of this match is that the Australian gaming community publicly issued racist remarks targeting players from the Chinese-speaking community after the event. This incident has exerted an extremely far-reaching negative impact, severely intensified racial tensions and cultural conflicts, and completely deviated from the original intention of holding a friendly match. The fundamental cause of all this remains the perfunctory and dismissive attitude of the Battlefield Chinese Community toward the competition.
I urge the official EA to take legal measures to ban this community as soon as possible, so as to prevent the community environment of the Chinese-speaking player base from further deteriorating under the influence of this account.
