This is a theory based on the whole venom bonds with everyone based on the synopsis for the issues to fight against hela and this cover. It would allow for MJ to still be venom even not the main one and allows Eddie fans to get their venom back. It's a win win situation for everyone
It's something that I have seen going around this reddit a lot. That whether you are a fan of Eddie or Venom determines how you react to certain storylines. To use an example I have seen people say the ultimate Spider-Man cartoon adaptation would be better if they adapted ultimate Eddie(you know the version of Eddie that is a pedo) for no other reason other than Eddie must be Venom. Yet venom fans care more about the symbiote side of things and prefer the black suit stuff and the black suit eventually becoming venom even if the host isn't Eddie like Richard Parker in the new ultimate comics
I guess cells and molecules are the same thing. You know it's times like these when I question the intelligence of comic book fans. A cellular bond is not the same thing as a molecular bond. There is no retcon
