Is it selfish to say I only really read Venom comics for Eddie's journey with the symbiote?

I'm a casual comics reader. I only read Venom. I don't engage in other Marvel comics most the time. Keep this in mind for what I'm about to say, it might explain my perspective.

Recently I have stopped engaging or reading Venom comics besides the ones Eddie is in them like the one he hosts Carnage and the upcoming Unchained.

I don't really care for other hosts, maybe besides Flash Thompson. I was drawn to Venom in the first place because of Eddie's relationship with the symbiote.

I feel like my favorite character is being sidelined in his own series. I get that this happened a lot in the past with other hosts but every time it does I lose interest.
(Again except Flash)

All this to say I don't really care for MJ, at all. No offense to her fans but All New doesn't really feel like a Venom comic to me. I don't know if I'm alone in this feeling.

Personally for me its significantly hard to care about other hosts so I start subconsciously viewing them as "filler" in a way. Even if they aren't. I do try though.

Am I a Venom fan if I only care about Eddie & the symbiote?

May I ask what's going on with Hela?

I'm not planing to read the MJ's run until either it's done or when I'll be caught up with the Venom comics. But sometimes curiosity gets the better of me and I want to know what's happening with the comics. So what's going on with Hela and all of that of Queen in Black?

Is she trying to replace Knull or is she trying to become a king in black?

Kinda hate how understated Carnage’s power is

Now I’m not a powerscaler or anything, heavens no, but I think Carnage’s strength deserves a lot more credit.

In some stories he’s treated like a standard symbiote, or like your run of the mill baddie, but he’s really not. Few heroes should be able to handle him on their own.

He‘s shrugged off blast from Doom, tanked attacks from Sentry, torn his way out of an adamantium sentinel’s eye, overpowered Luke Cage, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

Hell, one read of his first ever story will Telly ou all you need to know. He‘s a huge threat.

Long story short, Carnage deserves to be treated like the powerhouse he is.

Crackpot theory for the ending of queen in black. Venom clones itself so it can bond with venom and MJ

This is a theory based on the whole venom bonds with everyone based on the synopsis for the issues to fight against hela and this cover. It would allow for MJ to still be venom even not the main one and allows Eddie fans to get their venom back. It's a win win situation for everyone

Looking forward to the interaction between Venom and Gorr in Rivals

In Season 3, All-Black expresses her longing for the love-based symbiotic relationship shared by Eddie and the symbiote, and reveals that she misses Gorr dearly. Leaks indicate that Gorr will become a playable character in Season 10. This makes me really look forward to seeing how he interacts with Venom. His symbiote is the ancestor of the Venom symbiote, she envied the romantic relationships her descendant had. It looks like they have plenty to talk about—none of this ever happened in comic.
