Did your first serious relationship permanently change who you are?
lwky feel like my first serious rship changed me mentally as a person 😭 before allat i used to be more normal socially but after the attachment, overthinking, breakup drama, mutuals getting involved n communication issues i slowly became emotionally avoidant without even realizing it. i started fearing arguments/conflict so instead of properly communicating i would just keep shi inside till everything became messy.
now school is ending n seeing almost everyone in my friend circle go through breakups endings too makes me realize how unstable emotions n ppl can be at this age. at the same time i also realized making one person ur entire emotional world is dangerous asf.
im not tryna fully blame her either cus i know i made mistakes too. i just wanna know if anyone else feels like their teenage rship genuinely changed their personality/view on ppl even after it ended
