Recovering from surgery
I'm going to have foot surgery and I'll be unable to bear weight on it for 6 weeks. Currently, I'm waiting for my insurance coverage to be approved and trying to plan ahead. After the first 2 weeks of PTO, I'll need to start working again on crutches, but I'm brainstorming how to deal with getting to work if I can't drive.
Does anyone else have experience getting regular rides to/from work using Lyft or Uber? Or any other scheduled service? I'm worried it won't be as reliable as I need it to be on a daily basis. It's also expensive, but I can do it if necessary.
I'm in a rural area of the US and public transport isn't an option. Thanks for any input!
