Stony Brook makes me feel like a child
I don't know if its the suites with high school bathrooms and crazy restrictions on furniture, or the cisco and fast food meals, or the classes where professors are constantly going over expectations and students are still confused, or the blank buildings. It really depends on my mood and when I'm doing research or an interesting homework it is fun, but the rest of campus life makes that feel like larp.
I know I shouldn't look to school to provide me with a sense of maturity, but I was at least expecting it to be a good setting for growing in this sense.
