Aitj for not wanting a kid's size bike?
My husband is awesome in every sense but we've been arguing over this and I need a third party perspective. He wants to buy me a bike. I'm quite petit (5'2" or 157cm). So he specifically wants to buy me a kid's size bike. I've patiently explained I don't need or want that because I've always ridden normal adult size bikes and it's comfortable for me. He insists it's irrational that I don't want a kid's size bike because it would fit me so much better. I feel like saying "I've always ridden average size bikes" and "I'm comfortable with that and uncomfortable riding a kid's size bike" is rational enough. He says my argument makes no sense because I sometimes buy kid's size clothes (they're cheaper) and I'm ok wearing them so why would I not be ok with a kid's size bike? Just to be clear, I have a handful of kid's clothes, they're in neutral colors and if I didn't say they're kid's size you wouldn't know. I finally told him that if he buys me a kid's size bike he's going to be throwing money to the trash because I will not use it. AITJ for not wanting a kid's size bike?
