Family trip from KY to WI, wanting to negotiate with dad on stopping in KS any ideas on how to make it work?

Hiii, so im in KY living with my dad and our family is going to WI for a family reunion, via car. BUT, im going to KS to visit with my boyfriend for a couple weeks before- i just moved from there earlier this year due to family issues w mom.

I wanna try and merge the trips, like I fly out to KS and stay with him for our time, and then we both come with on the way to WI so he can come with me and we can get some extra time together + meet my extended family!

However, The drive from KY>WI is about 10hrs. With stopping in KS its 22hrs ... which is over double and I don't think my dads willing to do all that driving. Any ways we could work with it or any ideas to negotiate with the trip, me and bf can both drive but neither of us have cars. Flying directly from KS>WI is out of the question, too expensive but we do have SOME money. We're just trying to think of ideas, so anything helps

Moving in with bf at 17?

Hi, so im planning on moving in with my boyfriend and his family, 17. I'm currently 17 as well. We have both known each other since we were 13, and admittedly had feelings for each other the entire friendship although we've only been dating for a couple months.

Im very close with his family, they helped me move out of my mom's into my dads, but that resulted in me and my bf becoming long distance; he actually only worked up the courage to ask me the day before I left. So we are a few states apart and have been since. I plan to visit this summer here in a month, and stay at his house for a few weeks during summer break. I think it would give me a good idea of what living with him would be like, as I've spent nights there but no more than a few days. So this would be kind of a trial run? And obviously a time for us to see each other and be together in person and see what it's like.

I just want to know, overall is it a good idea to move down in August before school starts? I'll be a senior next year. His family of course has problems of their own, and we would have our own rooms too and ive already expressed to him that I do value alone time sometimes because I don't want us to be dependent on each other. We're planning on moving with them for the school year, then saving for our own place a couple towns away after we graduate. I can further explain the situation in comments. Just ask! I'm hoping for any advice, especially from anyone who's been in similar spots.

Also: I turn 18 the next month after, so it'd really be 18 tbf
