I will probably have monofocals and wear glasses.

Is there any benefit to laser? I was recently told by a reputable surgeon that laser is a gimmick to add to the cost.

Opinions?

I am looking for an expert to care for an 87 year old man who was tentatively diagnosed with mmm.
