hi! im from dlsu and i just wanted to ask, what are your thoughts on someone not from up, wearing a sablay-like sash for grad ceremony? i designed my own grad outfit kasi and i rlly wanted to incorporate a specific checkered pattern (if you’re familiar with the pattern on tswift’s evermore album cover) and the only way i could think of was to have it be a sash, worn in a similar style to a sablay

im just worried that it would be frowned upon or something or baka isipin na trying hard mag-mukhang taga-up pero i just rlly want to use the pattern 😭 i already had it made pero detachable naman siya
