Paint color choice help!

We hired someone to paint the house just need help choosing a color please. He said we would want darker trim color because the trim is already dark red. I am unsure if that will look good though, I was hoping for white. I had chat gbt make a mock up of the house with black trim and I honestly don’t like it. I’m not sure what to do. Could I prime the windows and trim myself so that he can paint it white? Or what other color combinations should I consider? Or do you think the mock up looks good?

Advice for house painting

we are going to be selling our home soon. i want to paint it a tan close to the current color, a little more tan less yellow, white trim and paint the shudders black. I know the outside of the house looks horrible, it was like this when we purchased it. we totally renovated the entire inside and the outside is the last project. what is the easiest way to approach this? power washing it, then going over with a metal scraper to get all the chipping paint of? then spot priming and then painting with latex paint? the previous owner painted over the wood shingles with latex paint instead of stain :( We do not have the budget for anything crazy. i just want to make it look more presentable to sell. any advice is welcome. I do most of the home improvement work myself when my young son is at daycare (my husband works a lot) as I am a teacher and have the summer off. I redid our kitchen cabinets myself last summer and painted those, they look great. so I am capable of learning with good advice. thank you in advance.
