My bf’s a huge Moby Dick fan and we both love Spielberg, so for his birthday I found a Jaws-inspired Moby Dick poster that I adapted to a canvas on Stitchly. I wanted the variegation on the threads to feel more splotchy and natural so I stitched in 10x10 grids of basket weave for the sky and whale, which might be my new go-to for stitching in Basketweave now because it was way easier to keep track of my stitch count. Finished in a Sudberry wood box, used Threadworx for the thread.
