Recently had a collision center do work on my car through insurance. Picked up my car today and paid my insurance deductible through the collision company with my credit card. Deductible was 1000 dollars but company forgot to put a zero so only charged 100. They just called me and I gave them my card details over the phone and they were unable to charge the card a second time for whatever reason but I got to thinking… am I even liable to pay the whole amount if they already billed me? I probably wouldn’t do that for obvious reasons but I was curious, thanks.
